Volume Software is pleased to introduce ReflexClient version 4.4. This version enriches the user experience with the new concept of business deals<\/strong> which replaces opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Let’s see what it’s all about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As stated in our introductory text, sales opportunities were replaced by business deals<\/strong>. These benefit from a new screen<\/strong> and offer new features<\/strong>. Please note that existing opportunities will be automatically converted to business deals following the update process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Like for other elements of ReflexClient, like companies or contacts, the business deals window can be divided in three main parts<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the General information tab, the upper part of the screen \u2460<\/span> allows you to enter general information about the business deal<\/strong>, including its object<\/strong> (business deal title) and its description<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Like for the company and customer records, an icon enables you to add quickly the business deal to your favourites<\/strong>. The notions of business deal number and variant, as well as the indicators displayed on the right, are detailed in dedicated sections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The lower left part \u2461<\/span> enables you to enter the information about the target company<\/strong> of the business deal:<\/p>\n\n\n\n The lower right part \u2462<\/span> allows you to inform the business deal details<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n The business deal numbering is performed when ReflexClient communicates with the server. <\/p>\n\n\n\n This works as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Just like it is possible to create estimate variants in your ERP (e.g. technical, colour, quantity variants), you can also create business deal variants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The variant creation duplicates the header information<\/strong> of the original business deal (company, manager, \u2026). The concept of main variant is particularly useful in the calculation of the total amount of business deals<\/strong>, displayed at the bottom of the business list:<\/p>\n\n\n\nBusiness deals<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
